Pick the Perfect Spot
After picking your dumpster that you will be using for your project, measuring off the area you want to place your roll-off dumpster is strongly advised. Please use the measurements we have listed below for assistance. We recommend finding a hard and stable surface like concrete. This makes placing the dumpster much easier for our transport team.
Delivery and Pick Up
Upon delivery, our team will make sure your rental is safely placed in the designated area. Once you have completed your project, all that is required is to give us a call, and we will pick up the filled dumpster. There's no need to move the roll-off dumpster, so leave all the heavy lifting to our transport team. Our team will properly dispose of your debris once picked up from the site.

The 20-yard roll-off dimensions are 14 ft long, 8 ft wide, and 6 ft tall.

Portable Toilets-What Else You may need To know
Portable toilets are made to take on approximately 60 people before needing to be serviced and cleaned. So, how many is enough for your project? It is always advised to have an idea of how many people you are going to have at your event or work site. This helps our customer service assist you in figuring out how many you will need. If you’re still unsure if you have enough portable toilets, it is always good to have an extra toilet just in case. This is especially true if you expect a large number of people coming and going. Having an additional portable toilet may help with lines and accessibility to the toilets.
Midwestern Tips
- When loading a dumpster, we advise you to place the debris in your roll-off evenly to get the most out of your rental space. Doing so allows you to avoid overfilling your roll-off dumpster rental. Overfilling the dumpster could lead to additional charges that would be added to your bill, and overfilling would also make it hazardous for our transport team when on the road.
- Midwestern Dumpsters recommends that after our team has placed the dumpster in the designated area, not to try and move the rental. Doing so could lead to injury of yourself and also damage to the equipment.
- Weather can become a significant factor when designating a place on-site for your rented equipment. For example, if you want the dumpster placed in your yard and it rains at your work-site, the ground becomes more impressionable, and with the weight of the roll-off could leave marks on the surface due to the rain. When we remove the dumpster after your project is completed, it may disturb the soil. So, our team will always suggest finding a place with concrete to have your dumpster placed.
- As our roll-offs are designed to hold your debris, not all waste is safe to put in a roll-off dumpster. Hazardous materials such as liquid paint, paint cans, aerosol cans, asbestos, anti-freeze, and other car fluids, oils, gasoline, herbicides, pesticides, electronics, nuclear waste, medical waste, animal/human waste and parts, other hazardous or flammable parts cannot be placed into the dumpster rental. If any of these items are found in the rented dumpster, it will result in a disposal fee.
